Featuring Dan and Dave Punk
After the Dan & Dave Show on WGHR, Dan Punk went on to be a DJ and Music Director at the largest student-radio run college station in the US, WRAS 88.5. There he played much of the great music from the Dan and Dave show and Dan & Dave did three reunion shows at the station.
WRAS, after being student run for 43 years, will soon lose its daytime programming to Georgia Public Broadcasting through a sweetheart-deal between Georgia State University and GPB without any student input. This move essentially removes original student programming and replaces it with NPR programming which already exists on another Atlanta station.
Dan and Dave think this is a travesty and believes those who care about music and art and oppose the usurping of independent thought should too.
